A clock-speed step down from the 8945HS in the Ryzen 8040 mobile stack: the same eight Zen 4 cores, 16 threads and 16MB of L3 cache, but a 5.1GHz boost and 3.8GHz base against that chip's 5.2GHz and 4GHz. Radeon 780M graphics and a 45W default TDP carry over unchanged, with the same 35W-54W configurable range. Built on 4nm process technology under the Hawk Point name, launched in December 2023.
