WD Purple Pro HDD Spec and Price in Canada
Purple Pro is the enterprise surveillance drive: 7200rpm at every capacity, a 512MB cache, and a five-year warranty with a 550TB/year workload rating — WD's top-end camera-array spec, per the product brief. Where the base Purple handles a few streams, Purple Pro is rated for AI-capable NVRs and large camera counts, with sustained throughput up to 267 MB/s. The distinction from the base line is endurance and warranty, and the price difference tracks it.
