The RMx without the SHIFT panel: cables plug into the end of the unit in the ordinary way, so nothing has to clear the side of the case, and the chassis is 160mm deep rather than the SHIFT's 180mm. Corsair's 2024 redesign is ATX 3.1 compliant with a native 12V-2x6 cable for PCIe 5.1 graphics cards, Cybenetics Gold rated for efficiency, and built on a six-layer PCB with 100% Japanese electrolytic capacitors, rated for full output at 50C ambient. A 140mm fluid-dynamic-bearing fan holds Zero RPM at low load, and a knob on the back of the unit overrides that when you would rather move air. Fully modular on Type 4 cables, ten-year warranty, three wattages — 750W, 850W and 1000W, the last carrying twelve SATA connectors rather than eight.
