Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold Spec and Price in Germany
Cooler Master's SFX unit for mini-ITX builds, and one that does not strand you if the build grows: an SFX-to-ATX bracket is in the box, so the same power supply drops into a full-size case later. It is 80 PLUS Gold certified, fully modular, and only 100mm deep, cooled by a 92mm fluid-dynamic-bearing fan. The ten-year warranty matches Cooler Master's full-size V series rather than being cut back for the smaller format.

What owners and reviewers say
Summarised from 2 source(s), reviewed September 14, 2026. A source is counted only where it names this model exactly. How we track prices
Commonly praised
- Tom's found compact dimensions, excellent voltage regulation and solid ripple suppression.
- It is ATX 3.0 compliant, fully modular, 80 PLUS Gold, and carries a ten-year warranty.
- Owners value the compact SFX size, which fits small cases such as the NR200P.
- It is reported to power high-end graphics cards with ease.
- Several owners find it quiet in normal use, and later buyers say the fan ramping described in earlier reviews was no longer an issue.
- Owners consider it good value for an SFX unit and note the ten-year warranty.
Commonly criticised
- It is noisy under load, reaches high internal temperatures, and has no zero-RPM fan mode.
- Its 12VHPWR cable is limited to 450W, which is low for an 850W unit.
- The sample did not include the SFX-to-ATX adapter the company advertises.
- A recurring complaint is an aggressive fan curve: the fan switches on and off and briefly ramps to full speed, which owners find jarring in quiet builds.
- Some owners report coil whine or electrical noise under load.
- Only two PCIe power cables are included, forcing a daisy-chain on three-connector cards, and owners say spare cables must be bought elsewhere.
