Ryzen AI 5 340 Specifications

BGA6 cores / 12 threads

Released February 18, 2025

AMD's entry point into the Ryzen AI 300 series, sharing the Krackan Point die with the AI 7 350 above it: three Zen 5 cores and three Zen 5c cores make 6 total and 12 threads, two fewer cores than the AI 7 350's four-and-four split. Boost reaches 4.8GHz from a 2GHz base, with the same 16MB of L3 cache as its sibling despite the smaller core count, plus 6MB of L2. Radeon 840M graphics and the same 28W default TDP with a 15W-54W configurable range round it out.

Tied 19th of 23 models in the Laptop CPU catalog on Boost clock — 4 models share this figure. Tied 12th of 23 models in the Laptop CPU catalog on L3 cache — 8 models share this figure.
