Thermaltake Toughpower PF3 Platinum Spec and Price in Italy
PF3 is the platinum sibling of the GF3 and the more compact one — 140mm deep, which is the point of the line. It uses a 120mm hydraulic-bearing fan with a smart zero-fan mode below 40% load and a switch to override it, holds ripple under 30mV and regulation within 2%, and delivers at least 17ms of hold-up so a brief mains dip does not reboot the machine. Four wattages from 750W to 1200W, all ATX 3.0 with a native 12VHPWR connector, all fully modular, all ten-year warranty.

What owners and reviewers say
Summarised from 1 source(s), reviewed September 14, 2026. A source is counted only where it names this model exactly. How we track prices
Commonly praised
- Reviewers measured high overall performance and Cybenetics Platinum efficiency, with load regulation within one percent on all major rails and good ripple suppression.
- It is ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 ready with a native 600W 12+4-pin connector, is fully modular, and carries a ten-year warranty in a compact 140mm-deep chassis.
Commonly criticised
- Noisy operation is its main drawback, and at high load it is one of the louder units in its class.
- Transient response at 12V and 3.3V, light-load efficiency, inrush current and power-factor readings at 230V all fall short of the best in its class.
