Core i5-14600K Spec and Price in France

LGA170014 cores / 20 threads

Released October 17, 2023 ·

A mid-range hybrid part: fourteen cores split six Performance and eight Efficient reach a 5.3GHz boost from a 3.5GHz P-core base, backed by 24MB of L3 cache. Maximum turbo power tops out at 181W, well below the 253W ceiling of the K-series i7 and i9 parts above it, so cooling demands are lighter. Intel UHD Graphics 770 is onboard for a fallback display, and the $329 boxed price undercuts the 14700K's $419 by $90 for six fewer total cores.

Tied 31st of 65 models in the CPU catalog on Boost clock — 8 models share this figure. Tied 51st of 65 models in the CPU catalog on L3 cache — 6 models share this figure.

What owners and reviewers say

Summarised from 2 source(s), reviewed September 13, 2026. A source is counted only where it names this model exactly. How we track prices

Commonly praised

  • Reasonably priced with excellent gaming performance, beating every non-stacked-cache competitor and faster than its direct rival in applications.
  • Good energy efficiency, PCI-Express 5.0, an unlocked multiplier, integrated graphics, and both DDR4 and DDR5 support.
  • Owners call it a strong value, delivering fast gaming and multitasking performance even on DDR4 systems.
  • The E-cores are repeatedly praised for handling background and multitasking work alongside the P-cores.
  • With a modest undervolt or a decent cooler it is described as running cool and quiet.

Commonly criticised

  • Only minor improvements over the previous generation.
  • Graphics drop to PCIe x8 when the Gen 5 M.2 slot is in use, and there is no AVX-512 or AI acceleration support.
  • At stock power limits it runs warm and can downclock under full load, so owners say tuning or better cooling helps.
