Core i7-13700KF Spec and Price in France

LGA170016 cores / 24 threads

Released October 20, 2022 ·

The F-suffix version of the 13700K: identical sixteen cores, 5.4GHz boost and 30MB of L3 cache, with the UHD Graphics 770 die removed so a discrete GPU is required. Dropping integrated graphics trims $25 off the 13700K's boxed price, the same gap the 14th Gen K/KF pairs in this lineup show. It suits builders who already own a graphics card and don't need Intel's onboard fallback display.

Tied 23rd of 65 models in the CPU catalog on Boost clock — 8 models share this figure. Tied 45th of 65 models in the CPU catalog on L3 cache — 6 models share this figure.

What owners and reviewers say

Summarised from 2 source(s), reviewed September 14, 2026. A source is counted only where it names this model exactly. How we track prices

Commonly praised

  • Reviewers find its sixteen cores and twenty-four threads strong for content creation, with Blender and compression results close behind the i9 sibling.
  • Its high single-core boost keeps 1080p gaming smooth and its PCMark 10 result places it among capable all-rounders.
  • Owners describe a large leap over older builds, with fast single-core and multi-core performance for gaming and productivity.
  • Several owners say that with a good air or liquid cooler it runs cooler than they expected.
  • Good price-to-performance and an easy fit on existing LGA 1700 and DDR4 boards are recurring themes.

Commonly criticised

  • Sustained Cinebench runs push it to its thermal junction limit on a 360mm cooler, and it carries a 253W maximum turbo power rating.
  • It is power-hungry and runs hot without capable cooling, and owners recommend a strong tower cooler or a 360mm AIO.
  • Some owners note the platform is at the end of its life, limiting future upgrade options.
