Core i5-13600K Spec and Price in the United Kingdom

LGA170014 cores / 20 threads

Released October 20, 2022 ·

A mid-range 13th Gen part: fourteen cores split six Performance and eight Efficient reach a 5.1GHz boost from a 3.5GHz P-core base, backed by 24MB of L3 cache. The 14600K that replaced it kept the identical core layout, cache and $329 boxed price, adding only 200MHz of extra boost headroom. Maximum turbo power caps at 181W, well under the 253W ceiling of the K-series i7 and i9 chips above it, and Intel UHD Graphics 770 covers a fallback display without a discrete card.

Tied 43rd of 65 models in the CPU catalog on Boost clock — 5 models share this figure. Tied 51st of 65 models in the CPU catalog on L3 cache — 6 models share this figure.

What owners and reviewers say

Summarised from 1 source(s), reviewed September 14, 2026. A source is counted only where it names this model exactly. How we track prices

Commonly praised

  • Reviewers treat it as the standout value in its generation, with gaming performance that keeps pace with far more expensive chips.
  • Its six performance and eight efficiency cores give it multi-threaded strength well beyond its mid-range price, and it overclocks readily with modest cooling.
  • Bundled platform flexibility, including cheaper DDR4 and older 600-series boards, is described as a real advantage over the competing Ryzen platform.

Commonly criticised

  • It draws more power than the previous-generation Core i5 it replaced, and sustained loads push temperatures high enough to demand a serious cooler.
