Core i5-14400F Spec and Price in the United Kingdom
Released January 8, 2024 ·
The F-suffix version of the 14400: identical ten cores split six Performance and four Efficient, the same 4.7GHz boost, 20MB of L3 cache and 148W maximum turbo power, with the UHD Graphics 730 die removed so a discrete GPU is required. The $206 boxed price undercuts the 14400's $231 by $25, the same iGPU-removal gap the K/KF pairs in this lineup show. It targets budget builds that already have a graphics card and don't need Intel's onboard fallback display.
Tied 53rd of 65 models in the CPU catalog on Boost clock — 3 models share this figure. Tied 57th of 65 models in the CPU catalog on L3 cache — 4 models share this figure.

What owners and reviewers say
Summarised from 1 source(s), reviewed September 13, 2026. A source is counted only where it names this model exactly. How we track prices
Commonly praised
- Supports memory overclocking with balanced gaming and application performance and an adequate bundled cooler.
- The graphics-less version saves money for the same performance and works with older memory to cut platform cost.
Commonly criticised
- Pricing relative to the competition, minor frequency improvements that do not translate into real-world gains, and no core overclocking.
