HGST Ultrastar 7K6000 Spec and Price in the United Kingdom

The Ultrastar 7K6000 is the last HGST-branded enterprise generation, still sold new as a legacy-compatibility option: 7200rpm, a 128-256MB cache, a 2M-hour MTBF, and a five-year warranty. Its per-model datasheet is no longer published; the agency-approval certificate is what still lists the SATA model families. It is CMR with the enterprise firmware and workload rating of the Ultrastar line, and the 4-6TB capacities make it the safe drop-in for servers whose compatibility lists still name HGST part numbers. The 7K6000's reputation — the quiet, cool, reliable enterprise drive of its era — is why it is still bought.
