WD_BLACK SN7100 Spec and Price in the United States

NVME2TBM.2 22807250 MB/s read

Released November 21, 2024

Released in late 2024, the SN7100 replaces WD_BLACK's DRAM cache with a 4-channel Polaris 3 controller and host memory buffer, yet still matches the SN850X on sequential speed at 7,250/6,900 MB/s and actually edges ahead on random write IOPS at 1.4 million. That combination of DRAM-less efficiency and gen4 flagship-level throughput makes it the leaner, newer alternative within the WD_BLACK line for gamers who don't need a physical cache chip. Endurance and warranty terms carry over unchanged at 1,200TB and 5 years.

Tied 26th of 106 models in the SSD catalog on Sequential read — 3 models share this figure. Tied 16th of 106 models in the SSD catalog on Sequential write — 4 models share this figure.
